Brady’s Lookout Cider is based in the Tamar Valley. We are a specialty cider mill devoting 100 per cent of production to ‘Methode Traditionelle’ sparkling ciders.
We focus on careful selection of Tasmanian fruit. No fruit concentrates are used and we do not add water to dilute the juice. Using traditional methods, our 12 month fermentation and maturation process is longer than many other cider makers. This builds our quality and guarantees that our ciders highlight the flavours and seasonality of the fruit.
We launch our brand today by featuring our 2014 vintage. There are two styles within the vintage (premium and wild). We invite you to taste both.
Our cider label is inspired by the gentleman bushranger Mathew Brady. We like to think as you take in the aroma and effervescence of our cider it evokes a sense of escaping into the orchard.
Our cider makers Chris and Caro Brown have trained overseas in cider production and explored the cider regions of France, England and Germany. Our cider mill is located under the shadow of Brady’s Lookout however we are not currently open to the public.
