BOFA Film Festival, Hawthorn Hawks and ANZAC Day treats, all at Harvest.

BOFA Film Festival is kicking off next week, and Harvest is bringing you not one, but TWO outdoor cinema events! Alongside food, drinks, and entertainment BOFA @ Harvest will ward off the onset of winter’s chill. There is so much going on at Harvest, don’t miss out on these unique events! and heaps more that BOFA has to offer. Grab your tickets by hitting the button above.

We are always so excited when we get to welcome newcomers into the market fold. Join us in extending our very best wishes and congratulations to Western Tiers Pastures! Our newest eggs suppliers will ensure a steady supply of the state’s finest bum-nuts for the Harvest community, and that is great for everybody! This exciting addition caps off an already humming Harvest this week.

Fork It Farm are on their monthly outing for example, and Cake of Peace and Our Patch Pet Food are providing treats for all. New Norfolk Distillery is making the run north for your enjoyment. Delicious Little Things have all your ANZAC day morning tea needs covered! Rae is whipping up a special batch of ANZAC biscuits and Monte Carlos. As well as this, a full complement of ready-to-eat stalls that have breakfast in the bag (or, take-away box, as it were).

We probably should inform you though, that our beloved Scoopy will depart soon, so don’t miss out on some incredible gelati and sorbetto. Also, our berries will be finishing up soon also, something else not to be missed this week! Not to mention there is never a bad time to pick up oils, condiments, sweet treats, and snacks from the likes of Coronea Grove, TNGT, A Pinch of Tasmania and Taste of Tam O’Shanter. Or for that matter, pick up some sweet treats from All Things Cherry, Sweet Wheat or Sandy’s.

Plus, autumn means a transition into heartier numbers on the dining table. Grab some grains from The Grain Family, a new line of pumpkins from Tas Natural garlic & Tomatoes and sweet carrots, sugar beets and early brassicas from our veggie stands.

See all this amazing stuff going on at Harvest? It’s all thanks to the amazing work of the Launceston community. Do you think your community group has something to add to the market? we would love to hear from you. Info on how you can be part of our Community Engagement Program is on the Get Involved link at the Harvest website.

Ok, that’s enough from us for now. Check out the full blog on the website. Have a great weekend and see you at the market x
