We Hate to be Corny…. but Corn is Back!! – February 2, 2019

They’re baaaaack!  This Saturday, we welcome back Elphin Grove Farm with a limited amount of their new season sweet corn – yum!  Modo Mio Naked will be at Harvest with their decadent brownies along with Seven Sheds and their handcrafted range of Tasmanian beers.  Ange from Mt Roland Free Range will also be launching her pastured quail eggs this Saturday – how exciting! It will be the last market for Vix Kitch so be sure to bring back your Vix Kitch jars and pop by Vicki and Malcolm’s stall to say hello and wish them luck on their next adventures.

If you’re heading to Festivale this weekend be sure to check out the “Cooking in the Park Series” as some of our local chefs and Masterchef’s Matt Preston transform fresh local produce from Harvest Launceston into stunning seasonal dishes. Stock up on some amazing cheeses from Coal River Farm, Elgaar Farm and Southern Sky Cheese Company and a baguette or two from Apiece, Manubread or Sandy’s Sourdough. 41 Degrees South Tasmania will have their hot smoked salmon fillets and rillettes, and Real Beef will have all your beef needs covered!

There will be plenty of berries, vegetables, mushrooms, meat, seafood, dairy, eggs, hazelnuts, honey, preserves, pastries, olive oil, plants, seedlings, hot food and drinks available as well as entertainment from Beau Thompson and Emmaleigh Groeneveld.
