Dumplings, Berries, Apricots and Cherries – December 29, 2018

This week at Harvest Launceston we are lucky to have a visit from Lighthouse Dumplings who specialise in handmade dumplings using amazing local Tasmanian produce. Regulars SmallGrain and Seoul Food will have speciality pancakes, dumpling, sushi and rice paper rolls. Sweet apricots and cherries will be in increasing abundance with apricots from Penna Valley and cherries from Lees Orchard, Ferniehurst and newcomer Pip’s Cherries. Sheffield Berry Gardens and Westerway Raspberry Farm will have strawberries and raspberries and currants and blackberries. Our amazing local sourdough bakers will be at the market with an array of breads and pastries from Apiece Bakery and Sandy’s Sourdough. Manubread will also be there with the freshest croissants, loaves and rolls. Celebrate the New Year with a bottle of sparking cider from Brady’s Lookout Cider and wishing everyone a happy 2019.

The weather is like good market weather, with a top of 29ºC with the possibility of showers in the morning.
