Harvest Market 16 November 2019 – THIS WEEK

This weekend the market is jam packed full of all your favourite regular stallholders and a swag of seasonal producers.

Berries are back!! Yes that’s right, Sheffield Berry Gardens and Bioberries Tasmania are at Harvest this weekend with a selection of delicate berry delights. Perfect served with a generous slice of Modo Mio Naked’s chocolate brownie and a dollop of Elgaar Farm’s organic double cream.

Avocado Moon return to Harvest with Launceston’s favourite small batch kombucha. Get your gut health in check for the coming months of indulgent Christmas cheer with a few bottles of this wildly fermented wonder brew.

Did someone say Christmas?! With just over 5 weeks to go until the fat man in red cartwheels down our chimneys, now’s the time to start making plans for your Christmas spread. Matt from Strelleyfield is at Harvest this weekend with his pastured free range duck sold whole and maryland. Roasted duck stuffed with festive spices makes for a perfect Christmas lunch…..and turkey was so last year!

As the warmer months tease us with their brief appearances of late, get your garden in order with a little help from Frank’s Char and Tasmanian Seaweed Fertiliser. Your plants will love you for it and so will you come harvest! And don’t forget to take home a fresh bunch of peonies from Heathermoor Peonies to brighten up your kitchen table or for that someone special.

This week on our Facebook Live and YouTube Channel we feature Mount Gnomon Farm. Guy will be sharing his producer story, updating us on some wonderful new product developments, and giving us a sneak preview of what’s in store at his upcoming farm festival. If you aren’t already at the market, make sure you tune in!

All coffee will come served “extra hot” at Harvest this weekend as MOFO Sessions return with the soulful folk-pop sounds of Triple J Unearthed’s Isla Ka  and multicultural superband beats of Mofumusu. Two incredible performances not to be missed.

See you at the market!

Join us on Saturday!
