HARVEST MARKET 1st February 2020 – THIS WEEK

Festivale, Tasmania’s premium Summer event, is back in town this weekend serving you food, wine, beer, spirits, cider and a great line up of entertainment. Kick off your culinary celebrations at the Harvest Market on Saturday morning, before wandering down to City Park to join in the festivities. Your tastebuds will be singing all weekend long!

Karen Martini – celebrity chef, media personality and writer – will once again be joining a lineup of local chefs for Festivale’s ‘Cooking in the Park’, sourcing fresh produce and artisan products from our Harvest stallholders on Saturday morning. So make sure you come down to the market and join in the fun…you might even get a photo with the queen of cooking herself!

This weekend at Harvest we are excited to offer a groundbreaking new product available from Tamar Artisan Smallgoods –  “no nasties” saveloys, frankfurts and cheerios! It doesn’t matter what you call them – cheerios, cocktail sausages, little boys – these bad boys are made using Oldway Farm’s grass-fed beef and organic beetroot powder to give them their recognisable red colouring….no chemicals or synthetic preservatives in sight!

As the end of Summer draws closer, it is nearly time to say au revoir to our our cherry, berry and apricot producers. Make sure you bring an extra bag and stock up before the season ends. Penna Valley Farm, Ferniehurst Cherries, All Things Cherry, Westerway Raspberry Farm and Sheffield Berry Gardens will be in house this weekend…get down early so you don’t miss out!

See you at the market.

Join us on Saturday!
