Launceston is a great place to live, work and play. We are blessed with beautiful natural wonders, top class facilities, world class events, and a strong sense of community spirit. The Great Regional Cities Challenge will launch at Harvest on the 2nd November and is an opportunity for us all to not only recognise Launceston as a great regional city, but to help it become one of the great regional cities of the WORLD! An initiative of Launceston Together, this challenge invites the community to tackle local issues and opportunities through grassroots projects, with $100,000 of project support funds up for grabs. Come along to the launch at Harvest next weekend or get along to the free ‘Activating the Power of Community’ Conference at UTAS to find out more and play your part.
At Harvest, Launceston is the centre of our universe and we strongly believe in building connection and community through food. If you haven’t yet experienced it for yourself, this weekend is the perfect opportunity with a carefully curated mix of fresh produce, baked goods, gourmet ready-to-eat food, alcoholic brews, flowers, nuts, dairy and other specialty products on offer. Add to this some live music, fresh air and sunshine and you have yourself a perfect place to spend Saturday morning with family and friends.
See you at the market!
