Harvest Markets 7th December – THIS WEEK

With Christmas just over 2 weeks away, now is the time to head down to Harvest to gather some gourmet gifts for your loved ones. A hamper full of artisan treats is guaranteed to put a smile on anyone’s face, even the biggest Christmas Grinch.

This week, Paul’s Original Hot Sauce is bringing festive four-packs of bottled sauce, including two limited edition flavours – Tomato & Chipotle Hot Sauce and Devil’s Hot Sauce. A perfect Christmas present for the chilli lovers among us. Tasmanian Natural Garlic & Tomatoes are back with their delicious Plum Pudding, jam packed full of Tasmanian blueberries, apricots, apples, cherries and hazelnuts. Metcalf Distilleries’ selection of spirits are a sure crowd pleaser and come in handy 100ml bottles, a great stocking stuffer for your adult children who haven’t yet flown the coop! Have you tried their Blueberry Creme yet? With a beautiful purple hue it looks as good as it tastes!

This week is your final chance to grab fresh green asparagus from Headlam Farm, with the last harvest of Newry Farm’s purple asparagus also available. Trio of Dips are bringing a new Keto Cracker featuring hemp seeds from our very own The Tassie Hemp Shop, a healthy cracker alternative packing a super food punch and pairing perfectly with their range of artisan dips. Wanderlust will be serving up a new seasonal dish – Buckwheat pancakes with berries – but get in quick because they will sell like hotcakes!

Have you got your Christmas roast sorted yet? Hazelbrae Hazelnuts are offering a limited range of premium lamb cuts, available for single purchase or pre-ordered boxes. With their animals grazing the laneways of Hazelbrae Hazelnut farm to keep the grass in check, this lamb is a truely sustainable and ethically-raised product.
