So, it is November already and the year is getting to the pointy end. Crazy. Pretty sure it was July last time we checked. With spring in full swing and summer fast approaching, if you are anything like us your Christmas feasts are at the forefront of your culinary mind. Stock up now on the non-perishables and start recipe planning! Few things in this world will impress your guests and make you feel great about life than a feast made from the bounty of Harvest.

We loved seeing your comments and recipe ideas from our stallholder recipe challenge last week. Be sure to check out our website for our Sunday Brunch Salad Recipe! It is super simple, fresh and delicious and sure to impress even your most discerning (or fussy) mates.

Making a full takeover of the SOMA stage this week is musician, sound guru, stalwart Harvest stallholder and all-round legend Corey Gilham and his World’s Smallest Improvised Music Festival! This city-wide event is the brainchild of Corey and an amazing showcase of established and emerging musical talent in Launceston. You can register for your free tickets here.

In delicious news this week, Jordan from Hillwood Fresh Food Co. Has some super exciting and creative products for your enjoyment including mushroom butter, mushroom ravioli and chargrilled pickled mushrooms… *drool*. Look no further for a beautiful dinner! There it is right there in those three products!

A huge congratulations to Chris and Caro Brown from the incredible Brady’s Lookout Cider for their nomination in the Tasmanian Sustainable Business of the Year Award! They certainly deserve the gong, unfortunately, they didn’t take it out, but their nomination is a credit to them nonetheless and we still love them very much!

With the year’s close drawing closer and closer, we hope you are able to see family, friends and loved ones and enjoy all of the amazing treats that Harvest and the incredible community has to offer you. It is not the time for stress, it is the time for relaxation, enjoyment and appreciation of how lucky we are to live in Tassie and have a market like Harvest. Enjoy it, you deserve it.
