George Town Seafoods have plenty of new season scallops to bring to Harvest this Saturday along with a wide variety of locally caught fish and squid – some of the freshest seafood in Tasmania! Hearty winter vegetables and free range eggs will be in abundance from Mooreville Gardens, incuding leek, broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, Dutch Cream potatoes, carrots, swedes, beetroot and yams. Tasmanian Butter Co introduces their new cultured truffle butter this week, available for a limited time during truffle season. Fresh truffles and truffle products will also be at the market from Tamar Valley Truffles, Tasmanian Natural Garlic and Tomatoes and Southern Sky Cheese Company.
After a long break, Turkish Tukka returns to Harvest, refreshed and ready to go with their tasty hot gozleme filled with a range of flavour combinations and deliciously sweet baklava. Langdale Farm, Lentara Grove, Seven Sheds and Three Peaks Organics also return for their fortnightly visits, as well as One on the Slide with the flavoursome sliders and a new Malaysian curry laksa soup.
Yyan Ng will be entertaining market goers early on Saturday morning followed by The Fergusons, with balloon artist Jeff ‘Then Uncanny’ Hayes making an appearance with his amazing balloon creations.
