A family owned farm, (5th generation of primary producers), nestled in fertile river flats between Orielton Lagoon & historic Richmond, Penna Valley Farm has been producing top quality Spray-Free Apricots for the past 15 years.
We have diversified, now growing 12 different varieties of fresh apricot, each with its own personality.
As the season progresses and the different varieties ripen, we encourage our customers to get to know each one for its own particular characteristics.
There is no spray used on our fruit. It is tree ripened, picked, and at market or the many greengrocers we supply within 48 hours, for the freshest juicy fruit, and the longest shelf life.
We also have 4 new varieties of Gooseberries ( 2 red and 2 green) just starting their productive life to be seen on fashionable cheese & fruit platters, gracing fabulous desserts, sauces, and, of course, gooseberry fools!
Pea shoots, sunflower shoots, and pea tendrils are also part of fresh food production at Penna Valley Farm, and are available throughout spring, summer and autumn. We supply a number of Tassie’s top restaurants for the freshest salads. Also organically grown, and spray free.
