Sandy’s love for all things dips began at a young age when her Grandma would make a traditional Hungarian dish called Liptauer. Recalling her “Upstairs Nun” (given this name because she lived in a 2 storey house with stairs) thickly spreading the delicious cheese dip onto warm fresh bread, as it melted the sweet aroma of paprika would fill the house and her love for homemade dips began. Using this as inspiration (and the fact supermarket products just didn’t compare) Sandy founded her food company Trio of Dips in 2012.
Trio of Dips offers customers a variety of delicious fresh dips and pesto’s proudly made using locally sourced produce. The varying selections are determined by the 4 wonderful seasons Tasmania has. Winter brings with it comforting dips including Caramelised Onion & Balsamic or Beetroot, Feta &Cashew and the warm Summer months offering Baba Ganoush, Smokey Capsicum or Tzatziki just to mention a few.
Sandy’s philosophy towards food is that it is best shared with family and friends, so in addition to tastings and pre-packaged sales the Trio of Dips sharing plate is also offered. Sharing plates are the perfect market food and comprise of a choice of any 3 dips served with deliciously fresh pita bread cooked on site.
So whether you’re entertaining friends, sharing a picnic with family or just enjoying a deliciously indulgent snack Trio of Dips has got you covered.
Because really…………Who doesn’t love a Trio of Dips??
