Wanderlust vegetarian food van is the brainchild of Sally Dawkins, formerly of Fresh on Charles. All of Sally’s cooking takes place in her 1966 solar powered caravan, which has been lovingly restored. As with her caravan, her food has vintage appeal. Homemade lemonade proving popular in the summer months as well as bowls of comforting vegetable soup in winter.
Sally also caters for those with gluten allergies offering hot gluten free pies. Locally grown adzuki beans and quinoa making an appearance in burgers and salads. She is supporting local dairies by incorporating their products in her range of pâtés. Sally really enjoys cooking with the abundance of beautiful local produce that is available in Tasmania.
