Saffron Tasmania and Hazelnuts on Hythe are a family operated agribusiness located at Longford, Tasmania. On the fertile soils of the region a small hazelnut grove of 550 hazel trees and many Crocus sativus corms grow producing our fabulous foods. All aspects of our farming is low impact and sustainable with a hands-on personal approach aiming for a premium product that is affordable, healthy, and a pleasure to eat. In our 11th year of growing these foods, Lisa and Bruce O’Toole have developed a reputation for a quality product, critiqued by some of the most qualified chefs in Australia.
