Mr Brown & Towns Mushroom Garden is Launceston’s newest urban farm, specialising in nearly 10 exotic mushroom species for dietary, medicinal and culinary needs.
They have been supplying restaurants across the north, and now they are offering their produce to the public.
Whether you are after a new and exciting flavour to add to your meals, whole-food meat substitute, or an immune-boosting addition to your diet, Mr Brown & Towns can help you explore the exciting world of Mushrooms. Urban farmers Fergus Brown and Michael Townsend are growing a variety of mushrooms locally which  have been getting attention from local chefs. Mr Brown & Towns and are joining the harvest community and will initially have a variety fo fresh mushrooms including Blue Oyster, King Oyster, Lions Mane, Mushroom Shiitake, Nameko, Enoki, and Yellow Oyster.
