It’s is a big day at Harvest this Saturday as apples are back!
Celebrate World Cider Day with a sparkling twist at harvest Launceston Community Farmers’ Market this Saturday with methode champenoise cider from Brady’s Lookout Cider. Then join us again in the evening to continue the celebration of International Women’s Day at the launch of our outdoor cinema. Enjoy a beverage, from sparkling cider or mead to wine from Moores Hill, to Seven Sheds beer or espresso martini at Ritual, and a gin from Metcalf distilleries. Add a delicious meal including oysters, sliders, dumplings, Korean pancakes as well as vegetarian dips, pies and fritters from Wanderlust. Then indulge in a gelato or delicious little treat and settle down to watch the movies. Do not forget to grab some popcorn at the Ritual bar.
In the morning we will have the acoustic duo Elle & Nik busking from 8:30 am followed by some Salsa dancing. But that is not all …
In the evening, from 6:15 pm local talent Den and her band will be on the SOMA Community stage. In celebration of our local Harvest women, film maker Tom Chapman has gone behind the farm gates to document the extraordinary happenings on Tasmanian farms. Join us for a wonderful evening of delicious food and drinks dished up by Harvest stallholders:
