This Week @ Harvest | March 27, 2021

Gosh, what a year it has been! This time last year, toilet paper, pasta and pantry staples were in short supply, Tassie was in lockdown, and at Harvest the delivery trucks were rolling out for their first deliveries from “Harvest Market Online”. The year has been filled with trials and tribulations, many of which will be celebrated at the 2021 Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards on Saturday. Harvest is up for 3 awards on the night, so please keep your fingers crossed for us in the categories of “Building Communities”, “Outstanding Event” and “Environmental Excellence.”

It’s the last market for the season for our friends Maria and Felipe from Quiwe, so be sure to pop over and see them on Saturday. We will miss their smiling faces over winter!

And finally, the team at Tamar Artisan Smallgoods and Oldway Farm have had some exciting news with the completion of their commercial kitchen on the farm. They have been busy preparing their one-of-a-kind cherry wood hot smoked bacon, which they will have at the market this weekend! They will also have all four of their normal flavours Classic, Maple, Chilli, Garlic, and their first new flavour for 2021; Spring Bay Whiskey bacon.

See you at the Market!

Join us on Saturday!
