A couple of our regulars are out this week, but visits from Derwent Distillery and Osare Liquori, two Southerners who’ve committed to the journey north, make up for that. We thank them for making the journey. Come and show your appreciation, too.

However, the focus this week is squarely on produce. Spaghetti squash and pumpkins are in strong form, baby potatoes remain excellent, and there is no shortage of good autumn cooking to be done with greens, herbs, and the slower, sturdier vegetables now settling in for the season.

Hop Valley Farm are in with their lovely herbal products, and Bobbing for Apples is worth a stop for dried apple snacks and cider vinegar. In short, perhaps not the fullest market on paper, but still a very workable one if you come with a plan.
