Spring, Springtime, Printemps, call it what you want but Spring has Sprung! Can you feel the excitement? We can. Spring is an amazing time of year at Harvest with new crops, new stallholders, new ideas, new events, and new faces. All the things we love the most.
It’s Junction Arts Festival week! Get stoked! What better way to celebrate the changing season than with a few days of food and wine and fun and frivolity and all the things Junction has to offer. Harvest is revving up to host Brum Brum Radio Workshop, so when you see two shit-box cars parked in the middle of the market, stress less, they’re legit.
Making a long-awaited return is our mate, your mate, Harvest’s mate, LT from Avocado Moon 🥳 LT’s lovingly crafted ‘booch is great for your gut, great for your brain and is, above all, supremely delicious. A notorious lover of a chin wag, if you need to know the ins and outs of fermentation and gut health, LT is your gal.
Ever looked at daikon from Steve’s Veggies or Laos Fresh Farm and wondered, what the eff am I supposed to do with that? Well, check out our recipe for daikon quick relish on our newly minted recipes page!
Other honorable mentions for returns include Paul’s Hot Sauce, Georgetown Seafoods and Strellyfield Duck.
As we progress into the chirpiest of seasons, Eat Well Tasmania will be releasing their spring e-book and seasonal recipes. Harvest has been working closely with Libby, Carl, and the EWT team to contribute to the spring release, so keep an eye out for their e-book and online recipes and content!
