Harvest’s Great Movie Night is upon us! Tickets are still available here!

This Saturday from 6.00 pm, join us and experience a whole new vibe for our wonderful market space as we fire up the movie screen and cooktops, fill the ice buckets and start shaking the cocktails for a night of good vibes and good food, good tunes and good times. Speaking of shaking, you’ll be able to shake your moneymaker to the rad tunes of the one and only Vinyl in the Vines who’ll be spinning for you during pre-drinks. How awesome is that!

NORTH festival is also bringing your a cavalcade of incredible events across the city for the next two weeks, you can get tickets to any (or all!) of their activities here.

The Great Regional Cities Challenge was launched this week by the irrepressible Owen Tilbury, and Havrset has pitches for you to check out! The GRCC is a community voted grants program that aims to make little ol’ Launceston one of the great regional cities of the world. A noble and super achievable goal that Harvest is 100% on board with. If you want to get behind our projects and help contribute to the fabric of this amazing city, then jump on the link above and get voting for Mind | Food, Collaborative Carbon Offset, and Community Engagement. Thanks in advance!

The delicious (and slightly boozy) news headline for the week is the return of Wanderer Mead 🥳. Mead is super underrated! It makes a fabulous spring beverage and a unique cocktail ingredient. The folks at Wanderer can give you the skinny on all things mead, how to best enjoy it and how to make sure you’re taking care of our bees and our beekeeping community, all while enjoying a delicious delicious beverage. That baby, is a win-win-win.

Other big shoutouts of deliciousness this week include Jordan at Hillwood Fresh Food Co. bringing along his mushroom lasagne, and a huge Harvest welcome to newcomers David and Alison from Takin’ it Home who will be bringing you seasonal pies, quiches and pizza bases. All of these things can go straight from their oven into yours for no mess no fuss delicious dinners that support local and seasonal. Another win-win. How perfect!

Let’s get loud on the SOMA stage this week with legends Studio Space Inclusive Arts and our stalwart SOMA swingers. Fun times and happy days for all! Yay!

The Harvest Ops team office is a hive of activity and engagement in the lead up to all of the amazing events we have coming up for summer, and believe us there is a LOT going on. We can’t wait to get stuck in.
