Mead, Bolani and Duck – April 13, 2019

This Saturday we welcome new stallholder Wanderer Mead to Harvest Launceston. Making hand crafted small batch traditional Mead and easy drinking session Meads using only Tasmanian honey, water, fruit and herbs, Stephen Wilkins collaborates with local apiarists including Harvest Stallholders West Bee Honey and Honey Tasmania.

We also welcome back the Bolani Stall to Harvest. The stall is run by members of the local Afghan community, selling traditional homemade flatbread filled with Tasmanian vegetables and herbs, and served with yoghurt. Along with hand crafted kombucha from Avocado Moon, we will have hand crafted beer from Seven Sheds.

Delicious Little Things will have their tasty Anzac biscuits for the next couple of Saturdays in preparation for Anzac Day. Finally, be sure to make the most of Strelleyfield’s monthly visit with their free range ducks, new season apples and pears from Windara Orchard and late season sweet corn and celeriac from Elphin Grove Farm.

Buskers from The Launceston Musical Society, John Cawley and Emmaleigh Groenveld will be entertaining market goers throughout the morning.

The weather is forecast to be beautiful market weather with a minimum of 8° and a maximum of 21°

Join us on Saturday!
