Mount Gnomon Farm rests against the pristine Dial Range in north-west Tasmania. The farm specialises in free range Wessex Saddleback pigs, a heritage breed that produces marbled, tasty meat.
Farmers Guy Robertson and Eliza Wood are passionate about producing ethically-raised meat with minimal impact on the environment. Along with pigs, the farm is home to rare breeds of chooks and ducks, highland cattle, traditional dairy shorthorn cattle, and shropshire sheep.
We sell a range of pork and beef products which includes:
From the Pig: Pork Roasts, Pork Belly, Loin Pork Chops, Bacon, Ham, Chorizo, Salami
From the Cattle: All of your beef steaks and roast cuts along with Pastrami.
We also produce sausages combining beef, pork and Tasmanian plum sauces and are stocked in restaurants such as Stillwater, Utsi café, Blue, the Sebel Launceston, and Alps and Amici.
